Yamaha MT-15
The Japanese bikemaker Yamaha has launched the street naked version of the Yamaha YZF R15 V3.0 named as MT-15. In the first two months, Yamaha has sold over 9000 units of the bike, which means the motorcycle is getting sold in good numbers in our market. The bike gets some advanced mechanical features like a fuel injection Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) and Assist and Slipper clutch. Moreover, the bike carries an aggressive design language along with features like LED headlamp/taillight, single-piece seat, digital instrument cluster with gear shift indicator and single-channel ABS.

The Yamaha MT-15 is powered by 155cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine which churns out power and torque outputs of 19 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm at 8,500 rpm. Transmission duties are done by a 6-speed gearbox with Assist and Slipper Clutch for quick shifts. The motorcycle is efficient enough to provide a mileage of 42 kmpl.

1.1) Single Channel ABS
The Yamaha MT-15 is retailed only in a single channel ABS variant which features Bifunctional LED headlight, Negative LCD, mobile charging port and some smart looking graphics. The suspension system in the MT-15 comprises of conventional telescopic forks at the front and Swingarm link suspension at the rear. Moreover, the braking duties are done by a 282 mm disc up front and 220 mm disc at the back along with a single-channel ABS as standard for added safety.
