The Indian bikemaker Bajaj is about to launch the Pulsar NS200 into the Indian market soon. A recent report from Autocar India reveals that the upcoming Pulsar NS200 will cost around Rs 1.24 lakh.

The Indian bikemaker Bajaj is about to launch the Pulsar NS200 into the Indian market soon. A recent report from Autocar India reveals that the upcoming Pulsar NS200 will cost around Rs 1.24 lakh. There is no official confirmation from Bajaj regarding the prices of the upcoming BS-VI Pulsar NS200, but we expect the bikemaker to reveal it soon. The BS-VI Pulsar NS200 will be Rs 10,000 expensive than the ongoing BS-IV model, which is currently getting retailed at Rs 1.14 lakh. The on-road, Delhi price of the upcoming BS-VI model will be Rs 1.53 lakhs. Bajaj has already updated the CT100 and Platina 100 with a BS-VI motor.

The BS-VI Pulsar NS200 will be Rs 10,000 expensive than the ongoing BS-IV model

The updated model will get powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, triple-spark, SOHC, 199.5 cc engine, that produces power and torque outputs of 24.5 PS of peak power at 9,750 rpm and 18.6 Nm of twisting force at 8,000 rpm. The ongoing carburettor version puts out power and torque outputs of 23.5 PS and 18.3 Nm. Moreover, the upcoming BS-VI Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS will come equipped with LED headlight along with a new colour shade. The suspension duties will be taken care of by conventional front forks and a mono-shock at the rear.

The braking system comprises of petal-tyre disc brakes, which is benefitted by a single-channel ABS for effective braking. Bajaj has already begun accepting booking for the updated BS-VI compliant Bajaj Pulsar NS200. One can book the motorcycle at a token amount of Rs 5,000. Once launched, it’ll rival against the likes of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Yamaha FZ25. The motorcycle will carry the same sporty streetfighter looks. The motorcycle will employ the same semi-digital instrument cluster, which comprises of an analogue tachometer, and an LCD screen which displays information like a fuel gauge, speed, time, service indicator and much more.
