Honda Activa 6G BS-VI compliant launched at Rs 63,912
The Japanese bikemaker Honda has finally launched the Activa 6G in the Indian market at Rs 63,912 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Activa 6G will replace the Activa 5G in the company’s portfolio, which was launched back in March 2018. The all-new Activa 6G is Rs 7,978 more expensive than the ongoing 5G model. The scooter will hit the showroom floors by the end of this month, and its deliveries will commence in February. Honda Activa 6G gets propelled by an air-cooled, fuel-injected, 109.51 cc motor that puts out 7.79 PS of peak power and 8.79 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the ongoing Activa 5G develops power and torque outputs of 7.96 PS and 9 Nm. Just like the BS-VI Honda Activa 125, the Honda Activa 6G offers Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) along with an all-new ACG silent start system.

The decrease in fiction in the engine, the scooter also gets Enhanced Smart Trumble Technology (eSST). Dimensionally, the Honda Activa 6G 1,833 mm in length, 697 mm in width, 1,156 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,260 mm. Suspension duties are performed by telescopic front forks and a single spring with 3-step adjustability at the rear. It’s the first time that the Honda Activa range employs an external fuel filler cap.
The company has also tied-up with a few banks and NBFCs to offer Rs 10,000 savings on the interest
It gets features like 12-inch wheels up front, DC LED headlight along with a class-leading ground clearance of 171 mm. The scooter is being offered in six different colour shades namely- Glitter Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Metallic Axis Grey Metallic, Black, Dazzle Yellow Metallic and Pearl Precious White. Moreover, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer also offers 6-year warranty. The company has also tied-up with a few banks and NBFCs to offer Rs 10,000 savings on the interest.
