Okinawa Cruiser Electric Maxi-scooter Showcased At Auto Expo 2020

The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Okinawa has revealed the Crusier electric maxi-scooter at the Auto Expo 2020. The company is planning to introduce the scooter into the Indian market by the second half of this year.

The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Okinawa has revealed the Crusier electric maxi-scooter at the Auto Expo 2020. The company is planning to introduce the scooter into the Indian market by the second half of this year. The electric maxi-scooter will get manufactured at the Company’s Rajasthan facility. In terms of design, Okinawa Cruiser employs headlamp cluster with extended stretched-out visor. It features a semi-digital instrument cluster along with Smartphone Connectivity options. The maxi-scooter employs chrome bits on the handlebar and footpegs to enhance the premium quotient of the electric two-wheeler.

It comes loaded with features like central-locking, cruise speed lock, anti-theft-alarm, keyless entry, Motor Walking Assistance (forward and reverse), Find My Scooter feature and USB charger). The Okinawa Cruiser electric Maxi-scooter is powered by a 3 kW electric motor, which helps the scooter to achieve a top speed of 100 kmph and 120 km of range. It gets a 4 kWh lithium-ion detachable battery, which can charge form 0-100 in just 2 to 3 hours. The scooter offers a gradient rating of 15-degree, and it has a loading capacity of 150 kg.
