Mumbai Harley-Davidson dealership is selling demo bikes at heavy discounts

Harley-Davidson Mumbai outlet is offering heavy discounts on the demo bike. Moreover, the company is also planning to launch a bike in the entry-level sub-500cc segment.

The Mumbai outlet of the American bike maker, Harley-Davidson, is offering heavy discounts on the demo bikes. The dealership is offering such discounts to clear the leftover stock before the introduction of BSVI bikes. Under this offer, the Harley-Davidson Street 750 carries an on-road price of Rs 5,76,466 as compared to the original price of Rs 6,85,066. Moreover, the outlet is also offering finance of Rs 5,48,000 on the bike. The dealership is also offering bikes like 2017 Fat-Bob, 2017 Street Rod and 2017 Street Bob. The Harley-Davidson Street Rod offers a discount of Rs 1,30,600 and the Fat-Bob carries a discounted price of Rs 3,67,000. The dealership is offering such discounts to clear the leftover stock before the introduction of BSVI bikes.

Moreover, previous month, Captial Harley- Davidson, Delhi dealership announced a discount of Rs 1 lakh on the ex-showroom price of Street 750. The Pune and Kohlapur dealership of Harley-Davidson has offered free gears with the Sportster range which includes motorcycles like Forty-Eight special, Forty-Eight, 1200 Custom, Iron 883 and roadster bikes. Other news suggests that Harley-Davidson has partnered with a Chinese company named as Zhejiang Qianjiang for the production of entry-level sub-500cc bikes. This company will manufacture Harley-Davidson's 338cc two-wheelers. The new entry-level bikes will hit the Chinese market by the end of 2020. And the same bikes will get launched in India or other Asian countries afterwards. The American bike maker has also revealed the stretch of their forthcoming sub-500cc motorcycle and it will rival in the naked roadster category.

 Other news suggests that Harley-Davidson has partnered with a Chinese company named as Zhejiang Qianjiang for the production of entry-level sub-500cc bikes.

The sketch revealed by the company employs with underpinnings of the Benelli TNT300. The company Zhejiang Qianjiang is also the owner of the Italian brand Benelli and we expect both the companies to share the same powertrains. The Benelli TNT300 is powered by a twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, three-cylinder mill which churns out power and torque outputs of 38 Ps at 11,500 rpm and 26.5 Nm at 10,000 rpm. The bike is priced at Rs 2,99,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
