Bajaj Pulsar NS200 FI to get launched by festive season
The Indian bike manufacturer Bajaj will reportedly launch the FI (fuel ignition) variant of the NS200 by the upcoming festive season (Diwali). These new reports revealed by MaxAbout states that the Pune based two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj will employ its fuel injected motor on the Pulsar RS200. The main reason behind providing the FI unit is to make their motorcycles BS6 compliant and, the same engine will power the NS200. Most of you may know that Bajaj is offering fuel-injected NS200 in the international market, but the Indian spec bike comes equipped with a carburettor unit. A video surfaced on YouTube in February reveals that the FI NS200 gets yellow, red and neon blue stickers on alloy rims and body panels.
The international-spec Pulsar NS200 is powered by a 199.5cc SOHC, 4-valve, Liquid Cooled, Triple Spark engine which develops 24.13 hp of power at 9,750 rpm and 18.6 Nm of twisting force at 8,000 rpm. On the other hand, the Indian-spec carburettor versionNS200 churns out respective power and torque outputs of 23.17 hp and 18.3 Nm. Both the fuel-injected and carburetted motor comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. As per MaxAbout reports, we expect the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 FI will get launched before the strict BS6 emission norms came into action. Moreover, Mr Rajiv Bajaj Managing Director of Bajaj Auto reveals in an interview that Bajaj would use these strict emission norms as an opportunity to launch its bike range into a new avatar. We can also expect the all-new Bajaj Pulsar FI to come loaded with new features and looks.

The new motorcycle will arrive with subtle tweaked design along with a new paint scheme and refreshed graphics. The new updates will also feature a full LED headlight and a fully digital instrument console. We expect the bike to come equipped with Bluetooth connectivity feature. Recently, Hero Motocorp introduced Bluetooth connectivity tech in all three bikes Xpulse 200, XPulse 200T and the Xtreme 200S. The all-new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is expected to demand a bit premium over the ongoing mode. The motorcycle is expected to cost around Rs 1,12,557 (ex-showroom Delhi).
