The Indian bike maker Royal Enfield is ruling the Indian streets as their two new bikes the Interceptor 650 and, Continental 650 is getting sold in good numbers. Now recent reports suggest that the company is working on a new bobber styled motorcycle which will be named as Meteor 650. The Meteor was earlier seen in 1953 on a twin-cylinder model from Royal Enfield. The Meteor 650 is expected to get showcased by the company with an 838cc engine at EICMA in November 2018. The Meteor 650 could be a big success for the brand as the twins are already doing wonders for the company. We may expect that the upcoming Royal Enfield Bobber will be priced close to the price of Interceptor 650. The Meteor 650 can be one of the most affordable and comfortable tourer motorcycles in India. The design of the bike chances of getting improved by addition and subtraction of some components from the standard body. Being a Bobber, Meteor will attract people who love to customize or modify their motorcycles.

Moreover, the Royal Enfield has recalled nearly 7,000 units of the popular cruiser due to a faulty brake caliper bolt. The motorcycles which are recalled are Bullet 500, 350 and 350 ES. In a statement, Royal Enfield said, “This is because service investigations revealed that the torque maintained on brake caliper bolts, as supplied by a vendor, on a few of these motorcycles were not as per stringent Royal Enfield quality standards."  All the motorcycles manufactured between March 20 and April 30, 2019, are said to be affected.
