Honda launched the CBR650R in the Indian market recently to replace the ageing CBR650F. Compared to the previous model, the all-new Honda CBR650R is significantly lighter. The motorcycle also employs a revised chassis along with a new fuel tank design. Moreover, the bike also gets goodoes like full LED headlamp/taillight, redesigned exhaust and muffler, LCD instrument panel, Assist and Slipper Clutch, ABS and Disc brakes. Powering the Honda CBR650R is a liquid-cooled, four-cylinder, 648.72cc motor which develops 85.9PS of power and 60.1Nm of twisting force. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

The suspension system comprises of upside-down front forks and a Pro-Link suspension at the rear. Colour options offered with the Honda CBR650R are Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
