Drag race between KTM Duke 250 and Newly launched Honda CB300R

Many Indian automobile YouTube channels have now started uploading more videos on drag races between two motorcycles. The main reason behind these races is to check the acceleration power of the motorcycles and how fast a bike can achieve a three digit speed. We have recently surfaced a new video over the internet which is drag race between KTM Duke 250 and newly launched Honda CB300R.

The video was uploaded by a YouTube channel naming Ayush Verma. The guy was riding a KTM 250 while his friend was riding the Honda CB300R. Both of them stops their motorcycles and decided to do a drag race, especially to check the pick-up of the bikes. As soon as the race begins both the riders twist their throttle. The CB300R takes the lead quite easily and it effortlessly wins the race. Moreover, the Honda CB300R sprints from 0-100 in just a few second. It was surprising to see how easily the CB300R defeats the KTM Duke 250. The Honda naked motorcycle is a difference between the KTM Duke 250 and the KTM Duke 390.

 
Powering the Honda CB300R is a 286cc, liquid cooled, fuel-injected mill which develops 30 bhp and 8000 rpm and 27.4 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the KTM Duke 250 gets propelled by a 248cc, single cylinder, fuel injected motor which churns out respective power and torque outputs of 29 bhp and 24 Nm. The transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed gearbox. As you can see both the motorcycles have a very slight difference in power. Both the motorcycles are quite efficient to provide a mileage of almost 25-30 kmpl. The Honda CB300R aggressively priced at Rs 2,41,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the KTM Duke 250 costs Rs 1,97,248 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
