The upcoming Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 looks smart and quite engaing
The more powerful Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is still a week away to get launched in India. The brochure of the Gixxer SF 250 has recently got leaked which reveals its design and spec. The bike gets a full-fairing design that is completed by robust styling and sporty ergonomics. Up front, the Gixxer SF 250 gets full-LED headlight, a windscreen for the prevention of windblasts and fairing mounted rear-view mirrors. Moreover, the cockpit of the bike is not visible in the pictures but, it will most definitely feature a fully-digital instrument console like its younger 155cc sibling.
The steering duties are done by a Clip-on style handlebar. The motorcycle will comes equipped with a 12-litre fuel tank that looks muscular and offers pronounced recesses to lock in the knees while cornering. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 gets a split-style, step-up seat that looks quite sporty. The rear profile of bike looks neat as the linear positioned grab rails fuse quite well with the rear panel. Moreover, the bike is expected to come with LED taillights and, side blinkers positioned closer to the number plate. The brochure image also reveals that Gixxer SF 250 gets the same twin exhaust like the 150 cc Gixxer which gets chrome tips and heat shield.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 will get powered by a 249 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-valve, SOHC engine which develops 26.5 PS of power at 9,000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The closest rivals of the Gixxer SF 250 are Honda CBR250R, which derives power from a 249.60 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC motor that produces 26.5 PS of power at 8,500 rpm and 22.9 Nm of twisting force at 7,000 rpm.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 weighs around 161 kg. Braking is done by Disc brakes on both wheels which also gets a dual-channel ABS. Suspension duties are done by Telescopic, coil spring, oil-damped up front and swing-arm type, mono suspension at the rear. Expected prices for the Gixxer SF 250 are Rs 1.50-1.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
