All-new Suzuki Goxxer 250 become the best-selling motorcycle of May, 2019 by clocking down a sales of 1,526 units.

Recently launched Suzuki Gixxer 250 has finally become the hot-selling 250cc bike into the Indian market. The Gixxer SF 250 surpasses the sales of Honda CBR250R, KTM 250 Duke and Yamaha FZ25. In total, Suzuki has sold over 1,526 units of the Gixxer. The sales of newly launched 250cc bikes have defeated the sales of other bikes in the segment by a huge margin. Looking towards the May 2019 sales of other motorcycles, the Yamaha has retailed 910 units of FZ including Fazer while Honda CBR250R was lowest among all at 54 units. The KTM 250 Duke acquires the middle position by selling over 681 units. All the 250cc commuter motorcycles are good at returning a mileage between 30-35 kmpl.

 The sales of newly launched 250cc bikes have defeated the sales of other bikes in the segment by a huge margin.

The upper mileage of 35 kmpl can be achieved while cruising on highways and, the 30 kmpl mileage figures are mostly expected while riding in cities where you need to accelerate more in lower gears. After comparing the bike which carries the same price tag as the 250cc bikes, the final winner Bajaj Dominar 400, the bike clocked down a sales of 1,888 units in May 2019. The Bajaj 400cc tourer carries a price tag of Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Powering the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is 249cc, single-cylinder mill which puts out 26.1 bhp of power at 9,000 rpm and 22.6 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The engine comes adjoined to a 6-speed gearbox. The fuel tank has a capacity of storing 12-litres of fuel at once.

 Looking towards the May 2019 sales of other motorcycles, the Yamaha has retailed 910 units of FZ including Fazer while Honda CBR250R was lowest among all at 54 units.

 The motorcycle is rated to provide a mileage of 38.5 kmpl and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 tips the scales at 161 kgs. Braking duties are done by single disc brakes at both the ends along with a dual-channel ABS for added safety. Moreover, the suspension system comprises of USD telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The instrument cluster is a fully digital TFT unit which is almost the same unit employed in Suzuki Burgman.
