CF Moto 300NK

The Chinese bikemaker is CF Moto planning to debut in Indian by launching its first 300cc motorcycle. The brand has unveiled the CF Moto 300NK at the EICMA 2018. The bike uses current 250NK platform. The quarter-litre bike gets a rebored power unit. Once launched, the CF Moto 300NK will compete against the likes of Honda CB 300R, BMW G310R.

Powering the CF Moto 300NK is a 292.4 cc single cylinder, fuel-injected mill which cranks out power and torque outputs of 27.5 PS and 25 Nm. The engine comes adjoined to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike stands on a steel lattice frame and, it features upside down forks along with a coloured TFT instrument cluster. We expect the bike to debut in India between, June-July 2019.

Kawasaki Z400

First revealed at the EICMA 2018, the Kawasaki Z400 is ready to get launched in India. After the failure of Kawasaki Z250, the brand is preparing to launch the Z400 which is a bit more premium, powerful and, will carry an affordable price tag. The Kawasaki Z400 will remain as compact as the Z250.

Kawasaki Z400 generates power from a 399cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor acquired from the Ninja 400. The motor in A2 compliance cranks out 45 Ps of power and 38 Nm of peak torque. There's no output restriction in India so, we expect the bike to produce around 49 PS of power from the motor which also powers the fully-faired Ninja 400. Compare the engine in Z300/Ninja300, this 399cc motor new downdraft intake. This comes adjoined with a larger airbox for enhanced intake efficiency.

It features a fully digital instrument console, similar to the one in the Z650. Now, the sales of the bike will straightforwardly depend on the pricing. After heavily pricing the Ninja 400 and Versys X300, Kawasaki India has performed pretty well by updating the prices of the Ninja 300. If the Z400 wears a pocket-friendly price tag, then we expect the sales of the bike to do exceptionally well in India. Expected launch of the motorcycle is near the festive season.
