The 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 has been upgraded mechanically and cosmetically. It still employs the largest-displacement engine of any production motorcycle. The bike gets a power-cruiser design along with LED headlights. The motorcycle comes loaded with features like adjustable pillion footpegs, heated grips, pillion backrest, full-colour TFT display, riding modes, traction control, cornering ABS and hill-hold control. Powering Triumph Rocket 3 is an inline-three cylinder engine that produces 165 PS of power and 221 Nm of twisting force. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed gearbox. It's main rivals include the likes of Ducati's Diavel 1260 and Harley-Davidson's Fat Boy.

The Triumph Rocket 3 is retailed in two different variants - R (Roadster version) and GT (for touring). Both variants of the motorcycle are around 40kg lighter than its predecessor. The 2020 Rocket III is offered in two colour schemes - Korosi Red and Phantom Black. The Triumph Rocket 3 Roadster is priced at Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Braking duties are done by a 320mm twin disc set-up at the front and a single 300 mm disc brake at the back. The suspension system comprises of 47 mm upside-down forks at the front and a fully-adjustable SHOWA suspension at the rear.
