The Royal Enfiled is the most popular motorcycle brand in India. It is mainly known for its classic looking motorcycles. The Himalayan is the only bike in the company's portfolio which is an off-roader. It is the most affordable sports touring bike in India. Recently, Royal Enfield UK and Bali-based Smoked Garage has extensively worked on the Himalayan and named it as SG-411. The 411 tells about the displacement of the engine and SG stands for the short form of Smoked Garage. This motorcycle carries a lot of smart and modern looking elements. Up front, the SG-411 gets an LED headlamp setup which looks like an eye of a predator but, the motorcycle misses out side-indicators. The frame of the SG-411 is highly modified by which it can effortlessly accommodate mono-shock and custom panels.
The massive Dunlop K180 tyres are the most attractive part of this motorcycle.
The sharp side panels look appealing and quite modish while the rear section is altered to give this motorcycle a compact look. The suspension setup comprises of a 43 mm USD forks from Showa at the front and, the rear mono-shock is from Ohnils. The spoked wheels get covered with black covers. Moreover, the massive Dunlop K180 tyres are the most attractive part of this motorcycle. For efficient braking, the SG-411 gets Nissin 4-piston callipers for 310mm dual discs. The bike also gets some premium looking carbon fibre elements, we don't know as they are fake or real but they look quite attractive. The upswept titanium exhaust looks smart and fuses pretty well with the overall design language of the SG-411. Moreover, the instrument cluster looks quite different from what you get in the Indian spec Himalayan.
The motorcycle is powere by a 411cc, singlw cylinder unit which is paired with a 5-speed gearbox
The Himalayan SG-411 can produce more power than the stock one as the motorcycle is 19 kgs lighter.
