Suzuki has plans to launch new premium products in year 2019-20

Suzuki two-wheeler is now planning to come up with new products by which they car expand themselves in every region of the country.

Japanese bike maker Suzuki which is doing astonishingly well into the Indian bike market has now planned to launch some more premium products in the year 2019-20. The brand has shown terrific growth in the last fiscal year from April 2018 to March 2019. The company has registered a growth of over 33% per cent and, they have sold almost 6.69 Lakh units. This is the highest growth percentage among all the two-wheeler manufacturers. Moreover, Suzuki has also closed its gap with the Royal Enfield motorcycles. The momentum still gets continued as the bikemaker has registered a healthy 12.57 percent in the month of April 2019. The company has sold over 65,942 two-wheelers last month including exports.

After sharing this information, Suzuki's Vice President Mr Devashish Handa has also revealed their plans for FY 2019-2020. The company has plans to launch ‘premium’ motorcycles and scooters, which will increase their customer base. Moreover, Suzuki has also planned to increase the number of dealerships around the country by which they can reach a wider audience.

Rumours are out that Suzuki will soon launch the more powerful Gixxer 250. The Gixxer 250 is expected to derive power from a 250cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve per cylinder, oil-cooled motor which is good at producing out 26.5 Hp of power. The motorcycle will also come equipped with features like an all LED illumination system at both ends along with a wide headlight assembly just like the Gixxer 155. Suzuki will offer the Gixxer 250 with ABS as standard for added safety. And it will come with three colour options – grey, silver and blue. Suspension duties are expected to be done by USD fork set up in the front and a pre-load adjustable monoshock at the rear. Moreover, we can expect the motorcycle to come with a flat handlebar, an all-digital instrument cluster, a decent set of brakes and some decent amount styling. The launch of Gixxer 250 is expected to take place by the end of this month.
