Spec comparison between Hero XPulse 200T vs XPulse 200
The Hero has recently launched two new bikes into the Indian market namely Xpulse 200 and Xpulse 200T. The Xpulse 200 is an off-road motorcycle, which looks quite similar to the Hero Impulse which was discontinued by the company years back. On the other hand, the Xpulse 200T is a road-focused machine which is built for those who love to ride long distances. The Hero Xpulse 200 is priced between 97,000 to 1,05,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). And the Xpulse 200T is retailed at Rs 94,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Xpulse 200 was first showcased by Hero at the 2017 EICMA show in Milan and, then Hero displays the motorcycle at 2018 Auto Expo. Afterwards, Hero introduced the Xpulse 200T which is based on the same adventure touring platform. Both the motorcycles share the same engine and most of their components, but they are still quite different from each other. Here is a difference between both the motorcycles on paper.
Design and features
The Xpulse 200 is the most affordable off-roader in India
Both the bikes employ some distinctive looking body elements like the Xpulse 200 gets a windscreen, handguards, metal skid plate, spoked wheels, high-mounted exhaust and beak-like front mudguard. On the other hand, the Xpulse 200T equips sporty looking alloy wheels, conventional front mudguard, a different set of tyres and low mounted exhaust. Both the bikes also get a lot of similar looking parts like all-digital instrument console, LED lights at both ends, a top rack, rear mudguard, crash guards and provisions for pannier mounts.

Both the motorcycles are powered by a same 200cc motor
The Hero Xpulse 200 and 200T are powered by a 200cc, air and oil-cooled motor which develop 18.4PS of power and 17.1Nm of torque. This is the same motor which also powers the newly launched Hero Xtreme 200R and Xtreme 200S.

The Hero Xpulse 200 sits 220 mm above the ground and, it also gets knobby tyres and long travel suspension which will make your off-roading experience quite memorable. The Xpulse 200T sits lower than the Xpulse 200. Moreover, it has a ground clearance of 117 mm and, it runs on 17-inch alloy wheels. It gets a shorter handlebar which provides better comfort over long rides. Both the bikes come equipped with an ABS for added safety.
