In January this year, the Indian bike maker Bajaj has launched the younger sibling of the Pulsar 220F which is Pulsar 180F. The main reason behind the launch is to give a rebirth to the aged motorcycle. The pics posted by Autocar reveals that Bajaj has updated their recent Pulsar offering with ABS as per the new govt emission norms, which were implemented from 1st April 2019. The motorcycle was spotted at a dealership which shows that the Pulsar 180F has started dispatching from the factory and has started hitting the showroom floors.

Pulsar 180F ABS

Rs 94,278

The motorcycle is coated with matt gery colour along with some neon orange decals. The motorcycle also carries the ABS ring on the front disc which confirms that the Pulsar 180F employs a single-channel ABS. Offering ABS allows the motorcycle to get sold into the India market after 1st April 2019. But, this rule bans the sales of the non-ABS version of Pulsar 180F. The reports suggest besides equipping a single-channel ABS, there is no other change made to motorcycle.

The Pulsar 180F gets propelled the same 178.6cc SOHC engine, which develops 17.02 PS of power at 8500 rpm and 14.22 Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm. Transmission duties are done by a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle also comes loaded with features like 55-watt projector headlamps, digital instrument cluster, power start, tank pad and much more. The Pulsar 180F is quite efficient to return a mileage of 45 kmpl. Moreover, it can sprint from 0-100 in just 4.8 seconds. Even, Rajiv Bajaj has also announced that they will launch a new variant of Pulsar this year in June.
