Honda launched the limited edition Active 5G: Dual-tone colour scheme

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have launched the limited edition Activa 5G in India. The new limited edition Active features some subtle visual tweaks along with two new dual tone colour options. The Active 5G limited edition carries a price tag of Rs 55,032 (ex-showroom) for the standard trim while the top-spec DLX trim costs at Rs 56,897 (ex-showroom). The video embedded below clearly shows that the new limited edition Activa 5G looks quite different from the ongoing model. As we have told you before that the limited edition is offered in dual-tone colour options namely Pearl Precious White with Matte Selene Silver, and Strontium Silver Metallic with Pearl Igneous Black.

Moreover, the scooter also employs stylish graphics across the body. One may find a ' Limited Edition' sticker on the side panels of the scooter. The rims of the scooter are painted in all-black colour shade. Moreover, the exhaust muffler now gets an additional chrome cover. The front apron, seat cover, and the grab rail are painted in brown and black colour shade, depending on the colour option you have selected. These new updates made the limited edition Active 5G looks more appealing and smart. These subtle cosmetical upgrades have enhanced the premium quotient of the scooter.

Mechanically, the scooter remains the same. It still gets powered by the same 109.2cc air-cooled engine which develops 8 Bhp of power at 7500 Nm and 9 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. Transmission duties are done by a CVT.  The engine is fuel-efficient to return a mileage of 50 kmpl. The Active 5G comes loaded with features like push start/stop button and LED headlamp. Dimensionally, the scooter is 1761 mm long, 710 mm wide, 1158 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1238 mm. Honda is also planning to launch the Activa 6G in the near future. It will come loaded with features like a redesigned front apron, updated instrument cluster, new telescopic suspension setup and disc brakes for effective stopping power.
